Your First Visit

Is this your first time visiting First-Centenary United Methodist Church? We've put together some basic information here that will make your first visit as easy as possible.
Finding the church

First-Centenary is located at 419 McCallie Avenue in downtown Chattanooga, TN 37402, between Memorial Auditorium and the UTC campus. Click for directions.
Parking

We have parking lots at the corner of Houston and Oak Streets, the corner of Lindsay and Oak Streets, on Oak Street between Lindsay and Houston, and beside the 620 Building on Lindsay Street between Oak and Vine Streets. There is parking on the streets as well as various lots for businesses that do not use them on Sunday. Handicapped spaces are located in the lot at the corner of Houston and Oak.
What to Wear

You will see a variety of attire—from casual and comfortable to coat and tie.
What Time?

We have three worship services on Sunday mornings. Traditional services in the Sanctuary are at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. The Vine, our contemporary service, is at 10:45 a.m. in the Oak Street Center. Click here for worship services. The Sanctuary is most easily reached by entering at the corner of McCallie Avenue and Houston Street. The Oak Street Center opens off Oak Street between Houston and Lindsay Streets. Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. Click here for Sunday School information. Greeters or ushers will be happy to help you find a class or worship service.
Children and Youth

First-Centenary has excellent childcare for infants and up and Sunday School for children through Elementary age. Children’s rooms for infants through 5th grade are located on the 2nd floor. Classes for Youth (7th grade through high school) are located on the 1st floor.
