Rev. Brian Davis, Minister of Outreach
Brian has been on staff at FCUMC for 7 years. He is married to Melanie and they have a son named Caleb. Brian graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2003 with a Master of Divinity and graduated from The University of Tennessee @ Chattanooga in 1998 with a degree in history. Brian helped start the contemporary service called The Vine in 2003 and is still its primary preaching pastor. He also oversees the outreach ministries of the church. Before coming to FCUMC, he worked as a youth director at First United Methodist Church in Cynthiana, KY for four years.
Favorite Bible Verse: John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
Favorite Book: Mere Christianity by CS Lewis
Hobbies: Spending time with Melanie and Caleb, Tennessee football, reading CS Lewis, and watching The Office
